My Featured album pick of the week is by Fred The Godson, one of New York’s most respected underground rappers. He died way too young (35) last year due to COVID complications, but we are blessed today to have his posthumous project entitled “Ascension”…This album is a masterpiece, with endless wordplay intertwined with some of the hardest yet soulful beats! Check it out below, along with 13 other excellent albums. RIP Fred.
