Focal Theva is the newest affordable speaker system to hit the market, and it’s making its debut at Axpona.
French audio brand Focal has launched a new line of affordable loudspeakers called Theva, which will be unveiled at Axpona (Audio Expo North America) from April 14th-16th in Schaumburg, a suburb of Chicago, IL. Theva is a range of six loudspeakers that combine hi-fi sound, design, and accessibility. The loudspeakers are designed to fit in with any home decor and are available in black, dark wood, and light wood finishes.

Theva N°1 is a compact bookshelf loudspeaker; Theva N°2 is a new 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker; and Theva N°3 is a new 3-way floorstanding loudspeaker with an ultra-slim profile and 5″ (13cm) speaker drivers. Additionally, there’s the Theva N°3-D model, which has a height driver to facilitate Dolby Atmos sound, the Theva Center for delivering crystal clear film dialogue, and the Theva Surround is supplied for rear surround duty in a home theater.
Theva range is made in France in Focal’s workshops and features Slatefiber technology, an exclusive cone known for reproducing a dynamic, rich, and balanced sound. In addition, they include TNF tweeters that produce a smooth and transparent high-frequency sound. They also come with tilted stands that ensure optimum Time Alignment, resulting in a soundstage centered solely on the listener. The combination of these features is said to set the Theva range apart from others.
Focal’s Theva range is designed to be a complete range for both hi-fi and home theater combining innovative technology and expertise. Theva pricing ranges from $499 to $1,499 each and will be available from April 2023.
