WiiM Introduces Remarkable New Audio Products for Later This Year: WiiM Amp Ultra, WiiM Sound, and WiiM Sub Pro

WiiM, the global technology company known for its high-value audio gear, is announcing the release of several new audio products: the WiiM Amp Ultra, the WiiM Sound, and the WiiM Sub Pro. These products expand the WiiM ecosystem and aim to provide high-fidelity audio, seamless integration, and whole-home control.

WiiM Amp Ultra

WiiM Amp Ultra, WiiM Sound, and WiiM Sub Pro

The WiiM Amp Ultra is a streaming amplifier designed to deliver powerful and refined audio quality. It features an aluminum chassis and a 3.5-inch glass-covered touchscreen. The Amp Ultra provides 200 watts per channel at 4 ohms and 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms, promising low distortion and audiophile-grade sound.

The Amp Ultra can power up to four passive speakers and is suitable for creating immersive sound in a large room or multiple zones. It includes features for home theater connectivity, such as Dolby Digital decoding, HDMI ARC, and a subwoofer output.

This amplifier uses the 32-bit/384kHz ESS ES9039Q2M SABRE DAC, TI TPA3255 Class-D amp chips, and TI OPA1612 op-amps. It also has Post-Filter Feedback Technology.

For connectivity, the Amp Ultra supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio, and dual antennas. It offers advanced customization options, including 24 preset EQ profiles, a 10-band graphic and parametric EQ, and built-in room correction. The Amp Ultra supports various streaming platforms through Google Cast, Alexa Cast, DLNA, Spotify Connect, and TIDAL Connect. Users can control the device through the WiiM Home App, voice assistants like Alexa and Google Assistant, or the included WiiM Voice Remote 2.

WiiM Sound

WiiM Amp Ultra, WiiM Sound, and WiiM Sub Pro

The WiiM Sound is a high-resolution smart speaker. It is designed to deliver 100W of room-filling audio. The speaker includes a 4” woofer and dual-balanced mode radiator tweeters. It supports up to 24-bit/192 kHz high-resolution streaming.

The WiiM Sound has a 1.8” high-resolution touchscreen and can be controlled via the WiiM Home App. It also features automatic room correction, EQ customization, and preset management.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and 100 Mbps Ethernet. The speaker supports stereo pairing with another WiiM Sound speaker and can function as a surround or center channel speaker in a Dolby 5.1 setup. It also offers universal casting support through Chromecast, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, DLNA, and Alexa Cast.

WiiM Sub Pro

WiiM Amp Ultra, WiiM Sound, and WiiM Sub Pro

The WiiM Sub Pro is a 250W subwoofer designed to enhance home audio systems with deep bass. It uses an 8-inch driver and a Class-D amplifier to deliver a frequency range from 25Hz to 200Hz.

The Sub Pro includes automatic room correction and an RCA input. It supports both wired and wireless connectivity through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The subwoofer also has smart power management, automatically entering standby mode and detecting RCA signal or plug input.

Ecosystem Integration

The WiiM Amp Ultra, WiiM Sound, and WiiM Sub Pro are designed to work together and integrate with existing WiiM products. They are controlled through the WiiM Home App, which allows users to manage playback, group rooms, and access various music services.

Pricing and Availability

There are no details for pricing yet. WiiM will release the WiiM Sound, WiiM Sub Pro, and WiiM Amp Ultra, along with pricing in Q3 2025. The products will be available on Amazon and at select retailers. You can preview these products starting May 15 at the High End Munich Show 2025.
