(Editor’s Note: Looks like they may have sold out of units at the sale price….but this system is still a great deal at the regular price! Check it out!)
Think you can’t get an enchanting Hi-Fi stereo system, source and all, for $500? Well, think again, because I got one right here.
It’s called the SVS Prime Wireless Speaker System, and it’s a sexy pair of Piano Gloss Black powered bookshelf speakers with a powerful amplifier and high-end multi-room audio streamer built-in. There is no complicated set-up, all you have to do is put the speakers on stands or on top of a low bookshelf, plug them in and go.
Usually, these speakers sell for $599, but right now Amazon has them at $499 for a limited time. That’s $100 off!
These speakers are perfect for anyone who wants audiophile sound without the hassle of setting up multiple components or just doesn’t have a ton of room.
Here’s a list of features from the manufacturer….
Commanding 200 watt (50 watts x 4) amplifier with active digital crossover effortlessly delivers power to each individual driver for room-energizing sonic impact refined by a 24-Bit/192kHz high-resolution DAC for accurate, bold and explosive sound with revealing clarity miles ahead of all other wireless speaker solutions.
WiFi and Bluetooth enabled with DTS Play-Fi App control for direct access to Spotify, Pandora, Amazon Music, XM Radio, Tidal, iHeart Radio and more at the highest resolution possible. Includes multi-room streaming capabilities with a wide range of products, lossless critical listening mode and more. Works with Amazon Alexa for voice control of music.
True stereo separation from two SVS Prime Wireless speakers provides a balanced soundstage and precise imaging for more immersive audio experiences compared to mono speakers, soundbars and lesser solutions.
Optical and line level inputs for stunning, high fidelity sound when connected to computers, TVs, gaming consoles, CD players, tablets, AV receivers, turntables and more. Subwoofer output enables deeper, more powerful bass from an SVS or other brand of subwoofer for more thrilling and tactile audio experience.
Dual-Band WiFi for uninterrupted wireless streaming without requiring a smartphone. 6 custom presets on the front panel provide instant access to your favorite streaming music services, playlists and Internet Radio stations without needing a phone or tablet.
The Prime Wireless System comes with DTS Play-Fi, a multi-room wireless audio platform that’s used by a ton of audiophile equipment manufacturers like McIntosh, Martin Logan, and Paradigm, making them interoperable with all of those products.
Play-Fi streams music to your speakers from a bunch of services like Tidal, Spotify and Amazon Music. All you need is a phone or tablet that’s compatible with the Play-Fi app, which is just about all of them. You can also stream music stored on a network drive in your house, or on your device. If you have other Play-Fi devices, you can share the music with all of them at the same time. You can also set up a quick connection with Bluetooth and stream that way.
I reviewed the White Gloss version (also nice, but not on sale) of these earlier this year, and I was amazed at how much clear, crisp sound came out of these speakers! They will fill a small to medium-sized room with beautiful music. The only thing to keep in mind is if you like room-shaking bass, you may need to add a subwoofer. If you do, it’s no problem because they have a subwoofer output in the back that automatically sends all the bass to the Sub when you plug one in. By the way, SVS makes some nice subs as well!
I don’t think you’ll be able to get a better hi-fi system for $500…I would grab these before they sell out! Sale link below!
