Kanto Audio is bringing their new flagship powered speaker called TUK to RMAF (Denver/Aurora, CO Sep. 6-8) this year.
The $799 TUK is the company’s first powered speaker to sell above $400, (their Budget YU Series has received a lot of love) it is also their first to use an AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeter for enhanced high-end clarity and soundstage. The AMT tweeter is mated to a 5” aluminum dome driver, no doubt to provide extended bass.
The TUK is also equipped with dedicated phono, RCA and Optical TOSLINK inputs, a built-in USB DAC, headphone amp, and Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX HD and AAC codecs. It also has an active crossover to direct frequencies under 80hz to a powered subwoofer when connected.
The TUK is available in Matte Black or White and is available for Pre-Order now at kantoaudio.com.

At Rocky Mountain Audio Fest (RMAF) 2019, Kanto Audio will exhibit its TUK high-performance powered speaker with wireless capability. TUK will be featured in Kanto’s exhibit, Room 5118, and in Room 7142 featuring a complete $2,500 entry level high-end audio system.
Kanto’s TUK (shipping September 6, 2019) features a unique Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter for superlative high-frequency clarity, complemented by an aluminum dome woofer and a built-in amplifier. Combining true high-end powered speaker performance with remote control convenience, TUK ($799.99, available in matte black and matte white) offers versatile wireless and wired connection options including Bluetooth music streaming with aptX HD, a built-in phono preamp and DAC, a subwoofer output and more.
