Every #NewMusicFriday, we pick a bunch of the best-sounding new albums so you can get your audiophile music fix!… As usual, it’s a very eclectic mix (Albums are arranged with more traditional audiophile genres like Jazz and Blues at the top, and the non-traditional audiophile stuff towards the bottom).
This week we have some real gems, including new projects from two of my favorite artists: one being the supremely talented singer Yebba with her debut album “Dawn”, and the other being jazz songstress Jazzmeia Horn along with her new big band ensemble. However, one of my favorite albums this week comes from a group I just discovered, Bomba Estéreo. They hail from Columbia and have an exquisite fusion of traditional Latin sound with electronica. Their latest album “DEJA” is a must listen! Check it out!
