Discover the AFUL MagicOne in-ear monitors, a revolutionary product that offers a unique take on single-balanced armature drivers. Explore the features and benefits of these innovative earphones.
AFUL released its latest in-ear monitors (IEMs) this past weekend, the AFUL MagicOne ($139). These IEMs feature a custom-designed balanced armature driver and several innovative technologies that promise a breathtaking sound experience.
One of the MagicOne’s key features is its custom-designed balanced armature driver. This driver is designed to provide a smooth, full-frequency response with a flexible and natural timbre and tone. This negates the need for separate BAs to cover highs, mids, and treble and, in turn, should provide a more cohesive sound.

Another key feature of the MagicOne is AFUL’s newly developed SE-Math Electro-Acoustic Intermodulation technology. This technology, which utilizes an RLC electro-acoustic network and complex acoustic structure, is said to compensate for the difference between the output at the driver and the acoustic output from the IEMs. This is said to significantly improve high-end response, making the MagicOne sound clearer and crispier.
To enhance bass response, AFUL has equipped the MagicOne with a uniquely designed rear-cavity structure. This structure includes a specially designed long and ultra-thin acoustic tube inspired by the design of the Nautilus. This complex tube design enables the balanced armature driver to deliver precise, powerful, and accurate lower-end responses like a transmission line speaker.
In addition to its promise of audiophile sound quality, the MagicOne also features a stunning visual design. The pair features a lovely clear white finish inspired by the beauty of falling snowflakes. The Face Covers are artistically designed with the theme of “纷雪” (Snowflakes Fall) in Chinese. Additionally, the pair is ergonomically designed for maximum comfort during longer listening sessions.
The MagicOne also comes with a high-purity hybrid stock cable. This cable has oxygen-free copper and silver-plated copper cables with a 32+37 core wire configuration. It also features a Litz Type 4 Coaxial shielded structure, which provides smooth signal transmission with low external interference. Both 3.5mm and 4.4mm terminations are available.
Overall, the AFUL MagicOne looks to be a truly remarkable pair of in-ear monitors. We can’t wait to get them. in for review. This new IEM is currently available via Hifigo.com and Amazon.com.
