BROOKLYN, NY — Grado Labs has officially announced the launch of the Signature S750 headphones, establishing the third model in the company’s acclaimed Signature Line, building on the stature of the HP100 SE and S950. These new open-air, dynamic headphones are defined by a newly developed S2 50mm driver design and the simultaneous debut of an innovative acoustic cushion.
The S750’s core component is the newly engineered S2 driver, featuring a carbon fibre and paper composite diaphragm paired with a lightweight copper-plated aluminium voice coil. This combination was engineered from the ground up to deliver a natural musical presentation with enhanced definition and dynamic range across the entire frequency spectrum. The headphone housing is constructed from all-aluminium, handcrafted in Brooklyn, NY. Despite its robust build, the S750 maintains a light weight of just 460 grams.

A critical new component is the Grado B cushion, a fresh approach to comfort and acoustic performance. The B cushion shortens the distance between the driver and the ear and uses a smaller internal opening to adjust the tonal balance. Crucially, eight precision-engineered slits improve airflow, which is intended to open up the soundstage while preserving fine detail. The cushion’s flat surface is designed to distribute pressure more evenly across the ear, effectively reducing listener fatigue during long sessions. The B cushion is also available separately as an accessory.
The S750 continues the Signature Line’s use of a detachable cable system. It is supplied with a 6-foot Signature Gold braided cable terminated in a 6.35mm single-ended plug. The new cable design is softer, lighter, and features improved insulation that enhances overall flexibility. Connection to the housing uses a 4-pin balanced mini XLR, providing flexibility for optional balanced cables, including 4-pin XLR and 4.4mm terminations. Physical refinements include a durable headband assembly that features engraved aluminium alloy gimbals and stainless-steel height rods. The leather headband contains 50% more padding than earlier Grado models.
The Grado Signature S750 is set for availability in November, priced at £1,695 / $1,695. Key technical specifications include a frequency response of 6 Hz – 46 kHz and a nominal impedance of 38 ohms.
