Discover the advanced features of the new PecanPi+ Streamer and DAC! Learn more about the latest products from Orchard Audio.
Orchard Audio, a manufacturer of DACs, Streamers, and Amplifiers has launched its new PecanPi+ DAC and PecanPi+ Streamer products. The PecanPi+ DAC is considered an upgrade to their well-received PecanPi DAC and Streamer. Instead of the Burr-Brown DAC chips used in the original PecanPi product, PecanPi+ uses Asahi Kasei Microdevices’ (AKM) latest flagship AK4499EXEQ digital-to-analog converter and AK9141EQ Delta-sigma modulator chips to produce pure, unaltered audio. The AKM chips are coupled with low noise power supplies, ultra-low jitter clock, and high-performance audio operational amplifiers from Burr-Brown.
The PecanPi+ Streamer is a high-resolution music streamer that can be controlled wirelessly using a phone, tablet, or computer and can also be connected to any digital transport utilizing S/PDIF. It can also be configured with a built-in headphone amplifier. The PecanPi+ DAC Hat board is ideal for DIY enthusiasts looking for top-quality audio equipment.
