Get to know the features of Bowers & Wilkins PI7 S2 and PI5 S2 wireless earbuds! This article will show you why they deserve your attention!
In April 2021, the original Bowers & Wilkins Pi7 & Pi5 in-ear noise-canceling headphones signified the British audio company’s initial entrance into the TWS industry. Now, the company claims to have taken their first-gen in-ear True Wireless headphones to the next level with the Pi7 S2 ($399) and Pi5 S2 ($299) designs, which they believe to be the top-tier True Wireless earbuds in their class.
According to Bowers & Wilkins, the Pi7 S2 boasts the same “hi-resolution” audio codecs (Qualcomm aptX Adaptive) as its predecessor, and it has also undergone improvements in terms of connections, earbud battery life, user experience, and the introduction of three new luxe finishes (Satin Black, Canvas White, and Midnight Blue).
In contrast to the Pi7 S2, the Pi5 S2 comes in Cloud Grey, Storm Grey, and Spring Lilac. There will also be a Sage Green color available in Spring ’23.
Moreover, Pi7 S2 and Pi5 S2 both have been upgraded with an enhanced antenna design that is said to provide a greater Bluetooth range of up to 25m, along with superior sound quality.
Both of the new models are said to have increased battery life, with five hours of listening time before needing a recharge. For those in a hurry, they also offer a quick charge feature that provides an extra two hours of listening time after only 15 minutes of charging. The accompanying charging cases for each model offer extra battery life, with 16 hours for the Pi7 S2 and 19 hours for the Pi5 S2.
Many of these “upgraded” specs seem pretty average in this day and age, but maybe they shine in the area of sound quality.
The new Pi7 S2 and Pi5 S2 in-ear earbuds are available from bowerswilkins.com and select retailers beginning today, January 25th, 2023.
