Check Out This Week’s Best Sounding New Music Releases!

It’s time for another edition of New Music Friday! We’re here to bring you the latest new music that dropped today!

Welcome back to New Music Friday; once again we pick some of the best new music that dropped today so you can get your audiophile music fix!… As usual, it’s a very eclectic mix (Albums are arranged with more traditional audiophile genres like Jazz and Blues at the top and the non-traditional audiophile stuff towards the bottom). Check out the TIDAL & Qobuz streams below!

Today our Album of the week is Gilles Peterson and Jean-Paul “Bluey” Maunick’s sophomore STR4TA album, “STR4TASFEAR.” The second album from this new wave jazz funk project is a collection of songs, melodies, and grooves that sit perfectly in the new music world its part of. It’s a great mix of twangy basslines, spacey synths, clacking beats, and ethereal vocals. So if you like that UK funk, you will love this one!
