Florida Audio Expo Confirms New Show Dates!

Looks like one of the newest (and so far quite popular) hi-fi shows the Florida Audio Expo, will be back early 2022, after being cancelled for 2021.

Today they announced dates for the third installment of the show, which is scheduled for February 18–20, 2022 (Friday–Sunday), at the newly refurbished Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore Hotel.

For the 2022 show, Florida Audio Expo will charge admission for the first time, but students and spouses will be admitted free of charge, and first responders and military personnel will receive 50% off the ticket price. Ticket prices are as follows: $15 for Friday only, or $30 for all three days.  Tickets can be purchased directly from the Expo’s website beginning September 18, 2021.

Because of Covid-19, he last couple of years has been both tumultuous and uncertain for Audio Shows. When the pandemic took over the globe at the beginning of 2020, it pretty much wiped out all 2020 shows except for the Florida Audio Expo, which ran in February before Covid-19 quarantaines were instituted. The last show we attended was the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest back in September of 2019.

This year, T.H.E. Show went forward this summer in LA, and it looks like other major hi-fi shows like AXPONA, Rocky Mountain Audio Fest and the New York Audio Show are pushing forward in October and December. So unless the latest Delta variant of Covid-19 causes any further closures, it looks like we may have a full slate of Audio Shows going forward into next year.
