HELM Audio has released a flurry of portable audio products over the last couple of years, and all of them have scored high marks here at Hifitrends.
Their latest creation, the fitness-oriented HELM SPORTSBAND HD, is a $129 neckband style wireless headphone with triple drivers (2 Balanced Armature, 1 Dynamic) for high levels of musical detail and separation, aptX HD hi-res wireless audio codec for CD-Quality sound, and 25 hours of playback time.
They also have an IPX5 water resistance rating, meaning they can handle heavy rain and sweat. That’s a good thing for headphones meant to exercise with. Speaking of exercise, the SPORTSBAND HD also has lighted earpieces that help others see you as you jog or exercise during the evening hours.
