This week’s Album Of The Week is yet another album from the London Jazz Scene, featuring a Tenor Saxophonist named Binker Golding. London Jazz is so hot right now, but a lot of it is experimental stuff that may not appeal to traditional jazz fans.
This new album, however, curiously called “Abstractions of Reality Past and Incredible Feathers” is nice because it kinda reaches back to the 70s jazz fusion days, becoming accessible while still staying fresh. It really reminds me of an old Return To Forever jam in certain parts. The sonics are also amazing. If you have a nice pair of headphones, put this on and it will take you away…Check this album out and thank me later! (Stream Below)
