I have one piece of advice for you. Don’t get those Raycon Wireless Earbuds you see hawked all over the internet.
Shanling, a company best known for neat digital music players, is jumping into the True Wireless game. Their first model, the MTW100, will be available for pre-order Aug 12th, and ready to ship Aug 15th.
The MTW100 will come in three glossy colors, with a novel lineup and pricing structure. Features and cost will be based on color choice.
The $69 White version will have 6 hours of battery life with up to 21 hours using the charging case. It will also carry a graphene micro-dynamic-driver.
The $89 Black and Red versions will have 7 hours of battery life and up to 24 hours with the charging case. A Knowles Balanced Armature driver will take the place of the dynamic driver.
Both variants will have Bluetooth 5.0, AAC/SBC codec, USB-Type C, IPX-7 water protection, plus DSP and noise cancellation for clear phone calls.
They will also have some novel features for the price point, like button-free touch sensor operation, 15 min fast charging, NFC wireless charging, and a “Surrounding Awareness” mode which allows you to hear what’s going on around you.
