HiBy W5 Audiophile Bluetooth Amp Hits Kickstarter

Much to the chagrin of Audiophile purists, Bluetooth has firmly taken root within hi-fi, and HiBy is seizing upon the trend with a new portable Audiophile Bluetooth amplifier for headphones. It’s called the HiBy W5 and it launched today on Kickstarter with a Super Early Bird price of $59. (As of this writing, the $59 tier was sold out, but you can still get in at the standard Early Bird price of $69)

The W5 boasts a futuristic metal design with 20 hours of playtime using the included charging case. It supports all Bluetooth codecs including the Hi-Res LDAC and Apt-X HD codecs and it’s also outfitted with a premium ESS 9218P 32 bit Mobile DAC/Amplifier chip that will drive headphones with impedances of up to 300 ohms. Those are some pretty impressive specs.

Here’s some more info from HiBy:

Designed for top-notch audio experience, with our self-developed UAT, W5 offers groundbreaking Bluetooth and audio coding technology, with a sampling frequency up to 192kHz or a major transmission leap speed of up to 1.2Mbps, its quality is equivalent to what singers listen to inside the studios.

W5 is fully compatible with the other high-resolution codecs such as LDAC/apt-X HD/apt-X LL/SBC/AAC. That’s not all, W5 also comes with 32-bit premium decoding chip, with up to 80mW@32Ω output power, significantly outperforming its peers. Not to mention, it offers 20 hours playtime, IP67 waterproof, 8th Generation CVC Calling, and more!

To express our gratitude, rather than our profit margins, that’s why we are offering you with our exclusive Super Early Bird at $59 (45% off the MSRP $109, free worldwide shipping) and add $20 with MMCX cable. Limited quantities only, don’t miss out on this opportunity.
