Today, TEAC, the venerated Japanese audio manufacturer, introduced the AP-507, a compact and powerful stereo power amplifier that joins their Reference 500 series. Designed for audio enthusiasts seeking flexibility and high performance, the AP-507 is said to offer a rich listening experience.

The AP-507 is a part of TEAC’s premium compact hi-fi components with an A4 “letter size” footprint. This compact design allows it to fit into any home or audio setup including desktop systems. Despite its size, the AP-507 offers exceptional performance, whether used as a standalone stereo unit or paired for advanced configurations like bi-amp mode or high-power BTL (Both Channels Bridged) mode.

At the heart of the AP-507 is TEAC’s custom-tuned new generation “NCOREx” power amplifier module, manufactured by Hypex in the Netherlands. This technology is devised to deliver a three-dimensional soundstage and a more expansive spatial presence. The AP-507 also features a dual-mono buffer amplifier, designed by TEAC to provide clarity and richness.

Utilizing a sturdy chassis, the AP-507 features a 2.8mm thick semi-floating aluminum top plate and a 3-point Stress-Less Isolation Foot system. This setup is designed to minimize vibrations, for a more open and natural sound.
