Meze Audio announces the LIRIC 2nd Generation – updated sound profile, beautiful ebony wood, and increased modularity.

Romanian audio specialist Meze Audio continues its tradition of high-end audio products by announcing the LIRIC 2nd Generation. This updated model refines the original LIRIC closed-back headphones, incorporating community feedback for a warmer sound profile, luxurious striped ebony wood earcups, and a focus on longevity for extended enjoyment. In 2021, we named the original LIRIC our Headphone of the Year based on its high build quality, top-notch comfort, and open, natural sound.

Meze Audio has built a reputation for meticulously crafted headphones, and the LIRIC 2nd Generation seems to reflect this dedication. Key features include a redesigned sound profile with greater warmth and depth while maintaining clarity. Additionally, the new striped ebony earcups bring visual elegance and natural durability. Meze Audio has also incorporated a QWRM (Quarter Wavelength Resonator Mask) to smooth out high-frequency peaks, further contributing to a refined listening experience.

Like the original, the LIRIC 2nd generation features advanced planar magnetic technology from Rinaro, known for its spacious and detailed sound. The Isodynamic Hybrid Array drivers within these headphones are specifically tuned for everyday use. This technology, combined with the closed-back design, is said to provide excellent isolation and sound reproduction.
