Cannonball Adderley Somethin’ Else is being reissued by MoFi in a special limited edition box set and SACD.
Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (MoFi), a company delivering the foremost audio technology and specializing in high-quality reissues, has announced the reissue of Cannonball Adderley’s Somethin’ Else as a numbered edition 2LP 45PRM vinyl box set and SACD.
The Somethin’ Else box set is limited to 6,000 numbered copies and is pressed on extra quiet MoFi SuperVinyl at RTI. It is sourced from the original master tapes and features reference-caliber sonics. The box set also includes special foil-stamped jackets and faithful-to-the-original graphics.

The SACD version of Cannonball Adderley Somethin’ Else is also sourced from the original master tapes and features DSD 256 audio. It offers a clear, transparent, ultra-dynamic, and up-close listening experience.
Cannonball Adderley Somethin’ Else is Cannonball Adderley’s only Blue Note album and features a star-studded lineup that includes Miles Davis, Art Blakey, Sam Jones, and Hank Jones. The album is considered a jazz classic and features definitive renditions of two jazz standards, “Autumn Leaves” and “Love for Sale.”
The reissue of Somethin’ Else is available for pre-order now at MoFi.com. It is expected to ship to purchasers in September.
