HiBy’s new Bluetooth Reciever/Headphone Amp, the W3, packs a bunch of features in a compact and inexpensive package.
From the announcement:
The W3 is packed with powerful hardware, utilizing a CSR8675 Bluetooth 5.0 receiver and a separate AK4377 DAC+amp chip to bring you audiophile quality wirelessly. It is compatible with our patented Ultra Audio Transmission and supports all Bluetooth codecs including Hi-Res, UAT / LDAC /aptX /aptX HD /aptX LL /AAC / SBC in Bluetooth 5.
Featuring HiFi lossless audio quality and high-quality in-call noise reduction, the W3 can run for 11.5 hours straight.
The W3 seems to have a little less output power and battery life than HiBy’s $109 W5 Bluetooth Amp (which I’ve written about in the past), but it has both digital and analog outputs which the W5 doesn’t have. I also like the fact the W3 has actual buttons instead of touch controls like the more expensive model.
The HiBy W3 comes in five colors and will be available for purchase on Sept. 30th.
