Nothing, the disruptive technology brand based in London, has launched Ear (2), a pair of true wireless earbuds that are said to combine “elite engineering and personalization” for an ultimate audio experience, all while showcasing the brand’s iconic transparent design. In addition, the earbuds offer Hi-Res Audio certification and LHDC 5.0 technology, providing an authentic sound experience.

With their Nothing X app, users can take a hearing test and create a personalized sound profile, allowing Ear (2) to adjust equalizer settings in real time for optimal sound quality. In addition, the earbuds feature a custom 11.6 mm driver (Graphene + Polyurethane) for deep bass and clear highs, and the dual-chamber design ensures smoother airflow and improved sound quality. Ear (2) also has a Dual Connection for easy device switching, Clear Voice Technology for enhanced wind and crowd noise reduction, and Personalised Active Noise Cancellation that adapts to the user’s ear canal shape.

Additionally, according to the company, the Ear (2) earbuds can play music continuously for 36 hours after being fully charged using the charging case, provided the active noise cancellation is switched off. Furthermore, in just 10 minutes of charging, the Ear (2) can provide up to 8 hours of playtime through fast charging. Also, Ear (2) supports wireless charging up to 2.5W.

Carl Pei, CEO and Co-founder of Nothing, expressed his excitement in introducing Ear (2) as a significant improvement over their debut product Ear (1), which had sold over 600,000 units. He stated they had wholly redesigned everything from scratch and incorporated advanced technology to offer the best-personalized listening experience.

The Ear (2) will be sold at the cost of £129/$149 and will initially be released on the website nothing.tech on March 22. On March 23, the Ear (2) can be bought in person at the Nothing Store Soho in London and certain Kith stores worldwide. Starting March 28, the Ear (2) will be available from all of Nothing’s global partners, both online and in physical stores, including StockX (US exclusively).
