Today Cambridge Audio unveiled its new Premium All-In-On music system named Evo. The system is based on two streaming integrated amps, the $3000 EVO 150 with 150 amps per channel and the $2250 EVO 75 with 75 watts per channel. The EVO 150 also has more connections, along with an option for hooking up two sets of speakers.
However, both have a beautiful new design with customizable side panels to switch up the look, well-respected Hypex NCore® Class D power modules, ESS Sabre DACs, and Cambridge Audio’s capable StreamMagic platform. This brings along app control, Roon Ready connectivity, Tidal Connect, amongst other connectivity options. There is also aptX HD Bluetooth, and MQA decoding is on board as well.
The two EVO streaming amplifiers will be available this month. They will be followed up by an add-on EVO CD Transport plus EVO Speakers later this year.
