New Music Friday 11/4: 10 New Music Releases You Must Hear!

Check Out This Week’s Best Sounding New Music Releases!

New Music Friday is back for November 4th, 2022! We’ve got 10 New Music Releases you need to hear this weekend!

Every New Music Friday, we pick some of the best-sounding new albums so you can get your audiophile music fix!… As usual, it’s a very eclectic mix (Albums are arranged with more traditional audiophile genres like Jazz and Blues at the top and the non-traditional audiophile stuff towards the bottom). Check out the TIDAL & Qobuz streams below!

Today our Album of the week is Hermanos Gutiérrez’s “El Bueno Y El Malo.” The brothers have been working together for a few years, and their latest album is their most ambitious project yet. They recorded the album at Dan Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound studio in Nashville, Tennessee. It features ten songs written and produced by both brothers.

They’ve crafted ten vibrant compositions that showcase their intimate guitar playing, intertwining one brother’s rhythmic patterns and the other brother‘s melodic lines to become inseparable. Together, they create what Estevan calls “a deeper, darker energy.”

The new album’s title references Sergio Leone’s classic 1966 spaghetti western “The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly, specifically its score by Italian composer Ennio Morricone. But according to the band, the phrase has a deeper meaning: “We think that everyone has a good side and bad side,” says Estevan. “It’s every person, every moment…every situation.” (More)
