Q Acoustics, a renowned British audio brand, has officially unveiled the 3000c Series, the latest iteration of their highly regarded and budget-friendly 3000 loudspeaker series. The last edition of the 3000 series, the 3000i, was released back in 2018, and we loved it. Now, this new generation promises to deliver exceptional sonic performance and high-quality design at accessible price points.
Building on Success
The 3000c series is inspired by Q Acoustics’ award-winning 5000 and Concept series and incorporates trickle-down technology for an enhanced audio experience.
Key features include the all-new C3 (Continuous Curved Cone) mid/bass driver, previously introduced in the higher-end models. This design minimizes distortion and ensures smooth, detailed sound reproduction.
In addition, also like the 5000 and Concept series before it, the 3000c tweeter unit is hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated from the baffle, preventing internal pressure modulations and distortion. It has a lower crossover point for better integration with the mid/bass driver.
Furthermore, the cabinets are constructed with P2P (Point to Point) bracing to minimize vibrations and enhance sound clarity. HPE (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser TM) tubes, specifically in the 3050c model, disrupt standing waves, resulting in a smoother frequency response and reduced distortion.
