Audioengine has announced the release of its upgraded B1 Bluetooth Music Receiver, featuring Bluetooth 5.3, Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec, and 32-bit audio support.

Originally introduced in 2014, the B1 was the first high-resolution audio receiver, setting a new standard for wireless audio performance. The Next Gen model builds upon this legacy with its enhanced features and sleek aluminum design.

The Audioengine B1 Next Gen receiver ($189) allows users to refresh older stereo systems by streaming high-resolution music wirelessly from up to 100 feet away. The inclusion of Qualcomm’s aptX Adaptive codec provides consistent, high-quality sound even when users are moving around.
