This week’s Album Of The Week is the latest release from Jeff Goldblum And The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, entitled “I Shouldn’t Be Telling You This”. This sophomore project follows the formula as the first album, paring hard-swinging Jazz covers with an illustrious list of Celebrity vocalists. I’m not mad at this, because it was amazing the first time, and as they say, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” Again they did a great job of choosing singers and material, with many highlights including (to my surprise) none other than Miley Cyrus showing some Jazz chops on “The Thrill Is Gone.” Gregory Porter and Fiona Apple are amongst the other artists providing great performances on what is sure to be another hit for Goldblum and company.
